Heh, I have an idea. We should link this thread in the "Cars Forsale" section as a reference to potential buyers and sellers.

In the Cars forsale section, I think some of the prices there (especially for a high-mileage AP1) are ridiculous. Probably, the reason why is because people were paying markups back the AP1 days; they naturally pass their crappy deals to the next guy. It's kinda like a pyramid scheme.

Also, you notice that used AP2s are pretty good deals because they were had for invoice brand new.

the Laguna Blues 06 are the most incredible deal of them all. $1k UNDER invoice by some people's quote! Amazing!

As for me, I finally settled on a Sebring Silver:

Date of purchase: Febuary 06
Location of Purchase: Boston area
Model Year: 05
Mileage/Warranty: 177 miles with warranty starting from January 06
Price before registration: $26,000
Description: In Boston's craigslist, someone was advertising a brand-new 05 S that they won at a casino. He wanted 27k, but was willing to let it go for 26kl. The car is absolutely prestine with the exception of the 177 miles. IMHO, I rather get the 06 Laguna Blue for $30.Xk than this.

Bought my MY00 Silverstone (described by the mechanic I had check it out as "a really nice car") w/ 38k on the clock for $18k one year ago this week.

I picked up my MY02 Sebring for $19,995 with only 19,400 on the meter, new ES100s on the rear and an AEM V2 intake (no tonneau cover though) from a dealer in Jan.

Bought my 04 Berlina Black on Jan 28, 06. It only had 58 miles from test drives. Paid $25,400 out the door.
