Default s2000 questions

im about to buy an s2000, but my question is that ... should i get the 2002 one since it red lines at 9000rpm and it has more torque than the newer ones, or should i get one that like 2004-2005?

Totally personal preference. My suggestion? Get the nicest one that fits your budget. They are all great cars!!

Not really. The difference in torque comes from AP1 (2000-2003) to AP2 (2004+) with the AP2 having slightly more torque with the compromise of a lower redline. It's a matter of personal preference and you should drive both before buying one.

Correction. The newer 2.2 have more torque.

Buy what ever you get the best deal on. Ive seen a lot of nice 2000 - 2001 S2K's that were only weekend cars that are like new for around $16k. That is what id look for. I even have one for sale.
