S2000 Registry
Hi! Welcome to S2KI and ownership of the finest sports car on the road. I'd like to invite you to participate in the Registry.
All great, classic, collectable cars need to have a registry. So does ours. I've started one and I'd like to invite everyone here to participate. My goal is to have as many participants as possible so that as our cars get older and become more valuable we'll be able to trace the history, lineage and ownership. You can view the registry here on Google Docs:
We now have 1,568 participants!

There are other reasons for this too. It will be interesting to see if there are any "sibling" cars. That is cars that were produced one after another on the assembly line. In addition, wouldn't it be nice to know who owns a car of the same color, year, interior, city as you? There are a whole lot of benefits in doing this.
I hope to have as many cars in our registry as possible. If you are interested in participating please post the following:
1. Your screen name
2. Model year of your car
3. Last 5 number of your VIN
4. Exterior color
5. Interior color
6. Your City
7. Your State
8. Your country
if you've sold the car or the car has been totaled or parted out, please let me know that too.
For those who belong to both S2KCA and S2KI please let me know. If you've already posted your info please don't post a second time.
I update the Registry nightly at about 11:00 pm and will post the link in this thread, in this post and at the end of the posts.
I hope everyone here participates. This could be a very valuable Registry.
Thanks for participating. I hope to be able to add everyone to the registry.

Is this the same registry that was created a few months ago?
It was suggested to me by another member who felt that this would be the perfect place for it.

Yes. I just thought I'd post here so that new members and owners would have a chance to see it and participate.

I will look into making this a sticky or including it somewhere of importance.
