S2K acquired!
Hey everyone,
After years of lusting after Honda sports cars (started as a kid) and VERY nearly taking out a massive loan to buy a 91 NSX last month, I decided to finally bite the bullet on a 2004 AP2 Silverstone. Check it out next to my buddy's FR-S:
The car is fully stock except for Bilstein PSS9 coilovers and has 61k miles. The Honda will be my weekend/track car, not my daily driver. I have a 2011 Audi A3 2.0T S-line 6MT for that!
I'm looking forward to learning and sharing experiences with you all!
P.S. I went over a fairly steep speedbump earlier and heard a loud clanging sound after the front tires went over it. That should've been the side skirts or front lip hitting the ground/bump, not the undercarriage, right?

Welcome to the club! I can tell you after having three of them over a five year period, I am STILL addicted! You will learn real quick! I am sure you will enjoy it. Funny you mention the NSX, this car is 90% of the NSX for 1/3 the price. I was seriously looking at an NSX years ago and drove a bunch of them but couldn't warrant the price difference after owning an S2K. Happy motoring my friend!

Well a big part of wanting the NSX was for its rarity and looks, not just the performance. That being said, I'm glad I didn't bone myself financially. The monthly payments on the S2000 are easily manageable. I will almost certainly have an NSX in my future garage, though. It's my dreamcar.
Yeah, the bump probably hit my exhaust. Shouldn't be a problem if I take the bumps angled and at a crawling speed, though, right?
