Hi all,

I'm currently in the market for a new car and I really want a S2K! I used to have a Nissan S14 and a s14a.

I've read the buyers guide, which was v. useful, any hints and tips or advice you can give, when viewing/Test driving a S2K

Hopefully i'll be a s2k owner this side of Xmas!

Tar.

Cheers, guys...

Well I went and had a look at a MY99 with 62K FHSH, I checked the usual things and all seemed ok...

Is there a basic test you can do to test the clutch isn't slipping? When I had my 200sx you could stick it in 3rd gear and accelerate hard and the revs should build up at a similar rate to the speed, this was and indication that the clutch was ok.

cheers.

i always thought the clutch slip test would be going 'bout 45 (mph) in sixth gear and stomp on it. if the rpm's shot up then the clutch is gone...
