Default S2K Owner Tomorrow ????

Hello everyone, I may own my first S2000 tomorrow.
I am going to test drive and evaluate a 2006 with 87k on miles. Asking price of $12,900.
Pictures look pretty good so far with the exception of drivers seat and arm rest both show some wear. Front bumper needs one touch up from a rock ding. I have been on a crash course the last several weeks to learn as much as I can about S2000's and this site has been a great help.
Thanks everyone!

I made the purchase on the 2006 with 87k miles today. Purchased in Pensacola, Florida and drove it 70 miles back to Mobile Alabama. Ran great with the exception of cruise control, I will need to dig into some threads to diagnose this.( cruise light comes on but unable to set speed). Missing two vin # tags... one on rear bumper and one on passenger door. Any body and paint work was done really well though. Interior was well kept and overall well maintained.
I debated on a 2006-2009 with low miles for appreciation down the road but decided I want to own this car 10 years from now and drive it and enjoy. Plus about 10k-15k cheaper for this 06 with 87k.
Well it's official...I am a S2K owner. Thanks for all you folks do to help new owners.
By the way it is Suzuka Blue / Blue/Black

Congrats, post up a pic when you get one. I'm sure you are going to enjoy the car.

First thing I would do is a valve adjustment and I would do it right away. Record the existing gaps, and set to Billman's recommendations for DBW s2ks. I don't have a DBW, so I can never remember his recommended gaps for those cars. I would do that before futzing with anything else.
