Default Sad day...sold the S.

Well today was actually sad for me. I sold my 2002 Sebring with less than 22K miles. I was very sad seeing someone else drive it away from my house, it has been such a fun to drive car, and I always said I would never get rid of it. But I had to, I have my first kid on the way and really need something with a back seat to accomodate a carseat. I need something more practical for winter driving here in KY. I am considering the new SI's or maybe even an EVO IX. Either way, I don't think it will compare in the "fun factor" that the S did.

Anyways, I wanted to say thanks to all the helpful information that is gathered here. Most of the people on this forum are more mature than most other forums(most civic forums are teens that need to grow up a little) and have a lot of really helpful information to share.

Hopefully the new owner can enjoy the S as much as I did.

just looking at that pic makes me want to rip off the black vinyl sticker around the front windshield. it looks so much nicer when it matches the cars color.

Wow ... your car still looks new!

Anyway, have fun with the Evo ... and post some pics when you have time! I heard the Evo IX's AWD is really really smart (with the independent diffs in F/R)

That sucks man...a friend of mine on this site lives about a half hour from me, he got the air bag deactivator switch installed in his '02 NFR S2000 when his little one arrived late last year. He drive it in winter too...60 mile daily commute. Gotta love the Blizzak LM-22s.

Thanks guys, I am already missing the car badly. It only had 21,500 miles on it! I know I miss it when I still cruis the forums here as if I still have it. I want another one, and I seriously think I will get another one one day. I can't even consider the EVO anymore, insurance and all just doesn't make me want it, plus I don't like the way it looks really.

Don't flame me, but I bought a SCION TC that I found here locally. I feel like I stepped down in the fun factor area, but this car has a lot of what I wanted in a car, like a back seat to put a carseat in, as well as a nice stock stereo system, smooth as glass 5 speed(although I miss the 6th gear, it's reverse in this car), really cool roof, and the price was right. This car actually surprised me as to it's sportiness feel, far more than I was expecting.

Either way, I won't be leaving here yet, it still feels like home

The new Scion looks pretty good. I really like that color. I'll take care of the S. It's smooth as glass, gave it a good detail and evetything. Just like in my civic I walk miles to go to stores because the car is parked way out in the parking lot. When I saw my civic leave my street it was sad. All the work I had put into it, new motor, turbo, everything pretty much. Then I walk out and get into the S and all the pain goes away lol.

I'm getting Bill Stebbins to tint the windows on the S this Sunday and should be getting the HKS Hi Power Exhaust in a month or so. I'll have to swing and let you check it out, and I want to see pics of the Civic with Si wheels.
