Some advice... please
Ok first let me say thank you for lettin me join your forum... so far from the stuff i read and the stuff i CAN understand it seems pretty cool.... but i was hoping you guys could give me some advice on cars that has been buggin me... now i'm a big fan of the s2ks probaly cuz i'm a big fan of honda.. but i'm not sure what i want my next car to be... i've narrowed it down to the s2k or the 350z... and i know this is a s2k forum so theres a chance i might get a bias point of view but i hope not... so if you can give me some advice on why i should choose a certain car i would appreciate it...
What do you want from the car? What are your needs and expectations? 350Z and S2000 are quite different, so maybe we can help you if you first tell us what you want from the car...
well first off i want something good looking and i think both deliver on that... and i'm not completely sure what i do want in a car yet, i was hoping you guys can help me out with that... i drive a 01 prelude now and i love it... but now i think i'm ready for something else...
I had a Prelude before, loved the car for sure. I opted for the S2000 because it was what I had been wanting for a long time. It's got the reliability, high-revving whining of the engine, and great stability you're familiar with in the Prelude.
The 350Z is an awesome car in itself, but it doesn't give me the feel I want in a car. I've always loved sport compacts. The Z is a little too big for my taste. However, making the jump to the roadster has been the best decision I've made in a long time.
Just keep in mind, it will not handle like the Prelude. You'll have to be careful because it is quite easy to break lose the rear if you're not careful. FWD is somewhat hard to spin out under hard acceleration in normal conditions, but the S2000 is a beast in itself.
If you want fun, both cars will do it for you, but I really think (coming from a previous Lude owner) that you'll be much happier going with the S2000.

I own both a 1998 Prelude Type SH and a 2007 S2000 and both cars are very different and both are very fun to drive. The S2000 is like a whole different beast, the seating, shifter, clutch, ride, is way different compared to the Prelude. After driving the S2000 and when I'm required to drive the Prelude, the drive is very uneventful and very dull.
