well,

weekend before last, my wife and i went to drive the s2k again, just to be sure we wanted one. it was a great car, fantastic handling, fast, and good looking. however, both of us are in our late 50's and i decided, as much as i would like one it just wasn't practical.. i just couldn't justify, even with the great lease deal, the cost owning a 3rd car. especially for what is basically just a recreational driver.

yesterday was my birthday, when i walked out the door to go to work, there was a silverstone s2k sitting where my trashed out toyota should be. my wonderful wife of 40 years decided i needed the car and had it delivered. what a surprise, what a birthday gift.

anyway, now i am finally a proud owner, of a new 2006 s2k silverstone/red/black.

I'm looking forward to joining up on the website, and hopefully, soon, coming to some of the meets and gatherings. I'm in Columbus, GA and I'd love to meet up with other s2k people in the area.

ALSO,

if anyone needs a great deal on an s2k....before the lease runs out.. they have a red one at king honda, auburn, alabama. they leased mine to me for a total of 14,350 in payments and down. that includes taxes and fees. 15000 miles per year. this is our 3rd honda from them, and we've always been satisfied, both with the deal and service. if you go ask for shannon and tell him i sent you.

now, if someone can tell me how to join up, i'd love to do it.
