sounds good, I know what you are talking about now. I was thinking it was something else...confused me a bit without looking at the inside of my car. I may have to do that quite soon. Thanks for the info.
I agree that Suzuka looks better in person than in pictures. It looks nice up close and like silver, it will hardly show any dirt or dust.
I didn't like the all blue interior of the pre-2006 cars - too much for my tastes. For 2006, the seats and carpet are still blue while the rest of the interior is black.
To me, the more black the better because it makes the blue stand out more, including a black top. I nearly bought a 2006 in Suzuka and probably would have swapped out the seats for black at some point.
What swayed me towards LBP was seeing both blues within 5 minutes of each other at 2 different lots. The LBP just popped better for me with the all black interior and top. Suzuka is a real nice color though and if it's your favorite of the S2000 colors, I'd say go for it. If you want more black in the interior, get a 2006 model. There was one still available recently at Madison Honda in NJ (ask for Gary Sheffer, he was nice to deal with) and Dick Brooks Honda in SC. I'm not sure if they are still in inventory but if so, you could get a great deal on cars that have been sitting for a long time. Go get it and drive it home. I rented a car and drove 320 miles one way to get mine. It was worth it.
I was worried when I bought my car that I wouldn't enjoy the interior. Exactly what you were worried about.
4.5 years later, I still love it.
I must say, I was all excited about laguna blue when I saw it was being introduced in MY06, but I don't like it as much in person. That's just me. I think Suzuka is great.
I would love royal navy blue to be sold here, but I doubt that'll ever happen..
