Default Taking over my pops car.

Sup guys.

After the HG went out on my GS-T we have decided to sell it. My DSM has all the basic bolts ons and runs mid to low 13s. Had a 50trim, fuel mods, intake, turboback, front mount etc etc.

My pops decided he is going to get his vette after all and asked me if I was interested in buying the car off of him for 20k. It is a 02 Silverstone S2000, 40k miles on the odometer, garage kept and has never been pushed past 6k rpms. My mom is currently using it as a daily driver.

I'm pretty hyped on getting a new project car and have something to take to Thunderhill!

I'm not about to start telling you or your family what they should do, but just food for thought:

I got my 02 Sebring with 19k miles for only 20k from a dealer. Private party I probably could have gotten it for a good deal less....

my .02

Hahaha, no I didn't light the house on fire as a kid...

He's helped me out a lot on the DSM funds wise so I'm not gonna try to haggle with him. It's all good, I just want the damned car.

give your dad a brake, man. He put a roof over your head for 18 years + fed you/took care of all expenses. If he wants to high-ball you on the price, let him. I personally rather pay a little more and buy a car from someone I trust.
