So I found a leftover '06 Laguna Blue Pearl. Has 1,137 mi on it cause the "owner drove it sometimes last summer" (from the salesman) and there is a small scuff under the front bumper that is not visible unless you lay down and look.

Price qoute is 29,900 Out the Door.

Deal?

Or should I just go get a '07 GPW for $32.8K right off the truck?

I am thinking about throwing that out there (29K OTD) and if they bite I will probably go and get it this weekend. I really want blue, but that 1,137 miles kinda bothers me a little. Especially when I see used 06's with 2,xxx miles going for 28.9K BTT.

The salesman already notified me in writing that it was never in demo service. The thing that worries me is he did not come out and tell me about the mileage off the bat...and that raises a small red flag...maybe he didn't know off hand though. I don't know...but another salesman I know told me that is something he would have brought up from the start, since that is really high mileage for a "new" and non-demo vehicle.

That's a lot of miles for a new car.

Not that I'd worry about it, but you might be able to do better on the used market looking for an 06 or and 07.

One of the members in the NE forum recently bought a new 06' (no milage) same color, for only slightly more than that.

Get the 07.
It'll be worth more when you trade it in later.

Carfax it and see if it has a previous owner. If it doesn't, they are toying you around.

He meant that the owner of the dealership drove it. They do, occasionally. Part of the perqs of owning a dealership.

It's probably never had a private party owner.
