Default Thinking about an s2k

I'm new to the s2ki community but I've been on various Honda forums through the years..
Currently I drive an 08 Honda Fit Sport.. I've had my fun with it doing little things here an there but Im realizing that it's nothing more that a grocery getter (which I knew when I bought it) but I want something a little more mature and fun to drive.

I've been looking around for a couple weeks and want to get into an s2k.. I liked the CR when they came out but I'm not a fan of the interior so I'm just going to try to find a regular AP1 or AP2 with lower miles and hasn't been trashed or manhandled..

Looking forward to being a member of s2ki.

Check in with your local forum, they may be able to point you toward a local or members car that would work for you. Good luck in your search!

Welcome. If you haven't driven one, do so and your mind will be made up.

I made the switch from an '08 Fit to an AP2 not too long ago and I am definitely enjoying it. I do miss the extra cargo space and the gas mileage/cost, but since my fiancee has an '09 Accord, we still have a car for running errands, hauling the dog around and whatever else we might need more space for. I think I'll probably buy another Fit when I can afford it to have as my daily driver. I do really miss that little car, it was perfect for when I needed to throw some stuff in and go, which you can't really do in the S2K. However, my S makes me very happy and I smile like a madman every morning when I open my garage. It's definitely something to think about, but as long you're happy with your car, that's all that matters in the end.

Well as of now all that I really haul is my turnout gear (volunteer fireman) and my L5 15 in the trunk lol.. And yes I know I'm going to have to get rid of the 15 but it's all good..
I don't really have any need for a practical vehicle because I just recently got a new job and I'll be driving a company vehicle 90 percent of the time to and from work.. Which means it'll be my weekend fun car!

Yeah - just go ahead and drive one...then you will KNOW. I have not missed the passenger space, and the trunk is plenty (and bigger than one would expect from external appearance). Now when I drive my sedan, I feel like I'm in a station wagon!

I was really blessed to find one at CarMax for a decent price, one owner, in great shape, with a free transfer to my city. So, don't mark those guys off your list.
