Default Thinking of getting an S2000...

Ok, I'm starting to save up for an S2000. I'm looking at a 2000-2003 maybe if I'm lucky a 2004 with 80k miles on it for around $15,000. Are there any common problems I should be looking for? Should I even spend money on an old S2000?

A lot will depend on how long it takes you to save up the money.

You should be able to get one with way fewer miles for that much.

No way I'd spend 15k on an S2000 with 80k miles.

Keep looking

Ok but are there any common problems I should be looking for? It'll probably take me a year to save up that much money.

On all years be sure the softtop dosn't show signs of wear where holes could happen. On the 00 & 01 check the rear plastic window for cracks.
