Third Time's a Charm?!
First time S2000 owner here of a 2004 I bought 3 weeks ago. I'm really happy and impressed with this car. This one will be a keeper and be around for longer than my previously owned ''88 944 Turbo S and ''83 911SC. Both of those were great cars and lots of fun to drive on both the street and especially at speed on the track. The S2000 is tight, quick, and handles closer to a go kart than any car I've driven.
I considered many other cars and I think this is one of the best buys for an all around sports car. For me, it's just a great balance of price, performance, reliability, safety, styling, and decent fuel mileage.
I did pick up and just installed an OEM hardtop. It allows this AARP aged guy to hide a bit and avoid the "look at the old s%#& going through midlife crisis in the red convertible" stares and glances!
