Default Tonneau Boot

Just bought a 2007 and I would like to get the top boot for long drives

I have seen some on Ebay, does the Boot Cover fit all years 2000-2008 or was it different after the Glass Window addition

Do you mean the hard top? The soft top cover?
I also have a feeling this thread should be in problems and fixes section, where it'll get better attention.

The oem soft top cover is the same for all years except I can't speak for the CR. But I feel like you wouldn't be asking this question if you had a CR.

They will fit all model years [OEM]. I'm guessing 3rd parties will too.

CR = Club Racer.

Yeah, the OEM soft top cover will fit all years. CR stands for Club Racer, it's the 'special edition' / limited production S2000 that has some tweaks and aero mods that are different from the standard S2000's. It comes with a hard plastic cover that goes over where the soft top would be (CR's have no soft top, came with hardtop only). Sometimes people mod these for use on standard S2000's.

The high cruising RPM does take some time to get used to. My area has a lot of 80 mph roads, and I'm over 4k rpm. You do get used to it.

Here is a CR and its cover:

I bought my 1997 Accord new and the original clutch finally burned up at 378 Thousand miles,best car Ive ever had period...

The S2000 steering is beyond precise, almost crashed after I turned off that VSA button and over corrected on a country road.

Lesson well learned, I will leave it on now.

The handling of this car is more precise and planted then my 99 355-Spyder

  • Best place to learn about your S2K is here. There is plenty to learn.
  • What kind of shape are the tires in? You do not want to drive that car if the tires are worn. Way too many stories here of perfectly good S2K's destroyed due to bad tires.
  • You need to get used to the high revs. Just be aware of when VTEC kicks in, yo.
