Default Traded a 1996 Miata for an 2005 S2000

OMG, I can't wipe the grin off my face. This car is amazing compared to the Miata. I have been dreaming about getting one of these for years now. It is a real pity that it is pouring rain and I can't open it up.

Anyways, just dropping a line. Ya'll probably understand the thrill and won't think I am bragging about my new ride.

Tanrael

P.S. Anyone else have their wives threaten to take the keys away if they get a ticket?

You made a huge upgrade to your garage, I can tell you that. 2005 is a great year for this car so congrats. A friend of mine has an older Miata and he's always telling me how much he wants an S2000. And my gf has never threatened to take my keys away...I think she knows the answer to that

Welcome aboard, you'll love the car. Trade the wife for an exhaust and intake, and maybe some new wheels.

Depending how good she looks, you might be able to pull a turbo kit too

Congrats on the buy and put some pics up quick

But grats on your car! Yeah! I would assume that going from a miata to an S2000 is a huge upgrade! Have fun brother! I can't wait till I get mine this saturday! I hope rain clears up for you soon!

The numbers they come up with at the dealer are crazy. On the books the car sold for something like 27k. The started with an asking price of 23k and supposedly the miata was worth 6500.

All said and done the loan was for 17.5 including the sales tax and fees. Add in what the miata was worth minus replacement cost for a new top and I figure it was about 19k.

I didn't really intend to buy it when I went to the dealer. Just figured on taking it for a test ride and then saving some more money.
