traded the 350z for the best car ive ever owned!
Hey guys, after a year of wanting a s2000 i finally traded my 08 350z for an ap1 and can honestly say i dont miss the z at all. I was never a huge honda guy but i think im already hooked for life haha
Yea lets hear the specs.. my buddy had a nice 06 350z and frankly i was never impressed. same with the 370, amazingly pretty and a powerhouse on paper, something just doesnt click like the S
Its a 2000, red with black interior. Spec d single catback, headers, test pipe, tein springs, ap2 wheels painted black, falken azenis tires 225s front 255s rear. I agree 110%, the z lacks something. Im more than happy so far. Plan on either a full race turbo kit or maybe centrifugal s/c with an evans tuning tune (i live 5 min away!) this summer after i get back from basic traing. I will be autocrossing and road course racing shortly
but what an awesome car i cant say enough... all the s owners ive met and talked to have been awesome.

But Honda's ability to be so god damn boring is frankly annoying.
ANYWAY... Welcome the S2k is an awesome machine, truly feels like a cracked out go cart.
Ya the 350z always felt like pig to me, I would always feel like i was going to roll through stop signs and lights. You can really feel the weight. But it is a great highway cruiser. \
The S2000 is better in almost every way, but when I had my first s2k (yes I missed it enough to come back after 2 years) I began to get annoyed with the lack of torque at stops, but the sound and thrill of winding through gears during turns makes up for it. I could NEVER DD this car, but love it as a toy.
I should be at 350-370whp within the next month!
