Default Tragedy in Westchester

I leased a 2000 S2000, then three years later bought a 2003. Living in the NY metro area, I drive it mostly 3 seasons. Sadly, at 52,000 miles and eleven years of age, an internal bearing went. I have next to no mechanical sophistication, but I do love driving my S2000.

Any expert advice out there on dealer replacement, dealer repair, non-dealer service or just how to handle this problem?

This.

Stay far away from the dealer......or, go there and price a motor replacement just for laughs.
