Uea you'll obviously feel a HUGE difference coming from a turbo RSX to a stock s2k, but once you go FI on the s2k its all worth it.

RWD is a big difference, if you dont know how to drive a RWD car it could get you in trouble a lot easier than FWD, even if it has less power.

I had a turbo rsx s before my s and i dont regret the trade in at all. Obviously the rsx was a lot faster but that doesnt make up all the extras that the s2000 has. Im happy with driving my slow s2000

RSX's are fine commuter car's but, as a performance car, they're a step backwards from the older Integra's. Even the RSX-S engine doesn't hold a candle to the JDM K20 in their Integras (The Japanese call the RSX an "Integra"). The front suspension's trash. It's essentially an up market Ep3 Civic.

I think you'll be much happier with the '2k.

Replace the turbo and keep the RSX.

If I were you I'd test drive an S and see how you adjust to it. I owned an STi before this and everyone said, "Dude you're crazy, you'll never be able to go from this to an S2000." Well they were wrong, and no matter what car passes me on the road I find myself liking this one better. It's not the fastest, and it's not the rarest either but it's the best car for what it does, and for the price.

I'm with you on this one. One doesn't buy an S for it's straightline performance alone. In my case, I didnt buy it for any sole performance measure. I bought it for it for many reason, mostly because of its appeal.
1. Sexy body lines, stance, and exterior appearance
2. Roadster/ 2door, 2 seat convertible
3. Purity of purpose: essentially a race car that is street legal
4. Interior: Spartan, simple, purpose built
5. Performance: Handling, braking, acceleration, etc
6. Reliability and build quality: Honda engineering
7. Bargain price: Best roadster available under $50K
8. Rarety: Not your everyday car seen at every corner
9. Feel: Light but solid and stiff, amazing gearbox and steering, great seat positioning, etc

If you are more concerned with speed and going fast, keep the RSX and replace the turbo. After all, the RSX is a great car and they share the same engineering and quality. I've driven the Type S and it is one of the best FWD hatches I've ever been in. Just don't buy the S to go straight line racing.
