Default Waited 8 years and finally got one :)

Hey everyone, just wanted to introduce myself to the online S2000 community! I just bought a 2005 New Formula Red S2000 with all black interior and 33,000 miles on January 31st, and have been loving every minute in it. I've been wanting one since at least freshman year of high school, and a new job and falling car prices means a reasonable car payment finally!

Anyway I have a few plans for the car, nothing too crazy I guess:

Engine: intake, header, exhaust, test pipe, vtec controller, engine tune

Suspension: coilovers, strut bars, sway bars, x-brace

Wheels: Most likely Advan, Volk, or BBS

Interior: Either stock all-red seats or JDM DC5 seats, stock red carpeting, leave everything else black

Exterior: Painted APR front lip, painted Mugen hardtop, painted Veilside lip spoiler, possibly painted carbon fiber hood/trunk

That's all I've got for now. I just bought some Honda MTF and LE1605 diff fluid, so I'll be swapping the fluids pretty soon. I got some bumper plugs and various other accessory items from HandA today. Feel free to comment on my plans or contact me about anything anytime.

Congrats! You could probably go FI right away for the cost of all the mods you plan. Good luck!

Yeah don't waste you money dude, for the price of those engine mods you listed (which will yield very small gains), the useless strut bars/xbrace and the carbon hood/trunk you could just get a supercharger. Done deal.

Yeah the mods are pretty expensive, but it certainly won't be happening all at once. I go to school full time and only work part time right now, so I'll be saving up to do stuff with it. A supercharger or turbocharger would be nice, but I'll wait until I'm out of school and probably build/sleeve the motor if I go FI. Thanks for the welcome's everyone. Here's some pics I took with my phone. They're only 3.2 megapixel, but oh well:

Just supercharge it with Kraftwerks USA's high boost kit.
