Hi!

So yeah.. last week (first week of september) I signed the purchase order in Germany for a brand new Honda S2000. Moon Rock with Brown seats.

Delivery was schedulled for December (arggg!) I asked the guy if I would get a 2008 model and he told me that there was no such thing as 2008 model so I get the 2007 (that in fact it's like the 2006).

Then I got a call from him yesterday.. he told me that delivery has been shifted to January (agggx2) but that I will get a 2008 model instead (ugh?)

I asked him about the differences and he told me that none for me (haha).. that there are new all-red leather seats but because I want them brown.. no changes for me..

I have been looking in the US page and seems that the 2008 (non CR) model has upgraded front sways and changes in the springs/coil-overs and in the instrument panel..

Well.. does anybody knows for sure what are the differences on the European 2008 S2000's?

It seems the instrument panel would indeed change to the CR-version, I haven't heard from other changes so far.

Congrats on the new car, the color combo seems very nice, I had a look at a burgundy 2007 with the brown seats lately, very nice too, that color is sometimes almost black

Yes, but those pics are from the 2008 CR Model.. mine would be the 2008 non-CR model.. but I guess that the updated instrument panel will look like the one in the CR model..

Well I guess I would have to wait until january and see what my car has

 

There are also pictures of the base model as well, the one in graphite, look at the wheels.

 

mmm yeah.. interesting.. wheels are different.. visually i like them less than the ones in MY2007. But they look lighter and easier to clean.

If they are really lighter then its a big bonus (i don't need flashy wheels, I need GOOD ones)
