I've been wanting to get an s2000 for a very long time preferably a gpw nd I live in central California nd they are so hard to find but I finally found one in San Diego it a 2005 s2000 I really like it but the thing that concerns me are the miles it has 116k miles on it which I think is a lot for a s2k but I really like it I need some advice. the car will last a very long time as long as its properly taken care of. Personally i'm not digging the mods they have on the car but thats me. It does come with both the n+ and oem suspension which is a plus. if you feel uneasy about you can always take it to a trusted mechanic.

This is actually my friend's car. I have several pictures of it too. The price they are asking for is way too high. My friend drove all the way to Oregon to get his and he bought it for $15,000 and the mileage was 95k+. Personally not a fan of his mods either.

He has the Invidia N1 exhaust on his S2000 which he then bought a Q300. But obviously he took it off when he sold it (what I am saying is, bad exhaust)

The price doesn't match for the mileage and CONDITION. I know because I have seen it in person and gotten a ride in it. My S2000 is way better maintained than this...

And it's definitely a MY04.

EDITED:
He drove it pretty hard. He spun out and bumped into a Miata one time he went to a cruise.

OP- buy a clean, unmodified car. Unmodified, well maintained S2000's are very durable. Also, they're more likely to appreciate in the future.

Here's the Craigslist add the person above was talking about:
