Well...I finally did it!
I've been here on the forum for a few weeks now. For the past two months I've been looking all over for an S2000. Wasn't looking for a particular MY but low miles (20K or below) was important. I started out looking for a Suzuka Blue and found some attractive offers. $26,000 w/ 7000 miles. Actually I found two of them at this price. Only thing was both were leased and didn't have a clean title. So I continued to search. Along the way I started realizing that as much as I liked the Suzuka Blue I was growing more fond of the Silverstone Metallic. I especially liked the red interior but didn't really care for the completely red interior. I knew that finding a used w/ red/black interior would be a little more difficult. After awhile I began to wonder if I should just get a new 06'. After all the prices are coming down due to the 07'. I even began to get some quotes from dealers and was all set to buy a new 06' S2000. I realized that I would be spending a little more than I wanted but I was tired of looking around. Then this past weekend I got a call from a seller who I was supposed to meet up with a few weeks ago. He had an 05' Silverstone w/ red/black interior. Had the security system and clear coat protection. More importantly it had about 13,000 miles with an extended warranty. The price...$26,750. I made an appointment to see it yesterday but when I arrived I realized that he scheduled two people to see the car at the same time. Since I was there first I was able to test drive it. The car was immaculate except for some paint/rock chips but I figured with a little detail and TLC it would look amazing. I had to cease this opportunity so I made an offer while I was driving and gave him a deposit. To make a long story short I was able to buy my S2000 and get exactly what I wanted. I'm thankful for patience and not being impulsive or desperate. I've already started reading the threads about washing and detailing. I just wanted to thank all of you for your insight and thoughts. It's been fun reading everyone's postings and the great thing is it's only the beginning. I'll post some pics as soon I figure out how to do it.
Anyway, thanks again to one and all.

First, congrats on your new car! It's very impressive when someone isn't impatient when buying an S, cause they're such nice cars
.
Second, let me know if you'd be interested in a used AEM cold-air intake...it was on my car for about 3,000 miles.
And finally, silverstone is definitely one of my favorite colors for the S, good choice!
