Ha, I bought my S used, and didn't even on plan on it. I went out to test drive some cars locally, and just handed them my prelude and bought the car on the spot. No waiting for me.

The last thing you should do is skip class. Ace your test, read stuff in the under the hood forum, and relax until you are too giddy to wait. And definitley don't plan what mods you want to buy, admire the car in factory form.

30 hours is nothing. I had to wait 6 WEEKS when I ordered mine. My wife has said that was the longest 6 weeks of our marriage.
