Looking to get an S pretty soon and i would like to know what are some things to look for on a used S. Looking at a 03 with 48k miles.

 

as in what key things to look for when purchasing the s2000? its the same thing you'd look for when buying any used car.

maintainence record and etc. have a trustworthy mechanic take a look at if it if you dont know what you're looking for.

Consider a compression and leak-down test on the engine; that should give you an idea if it was overreved or damaged in some way.
