Well, you didn't specify what kind of cars...
I'm a mod on the biggest RC forum on the 'net, and quite well known around the world within the hobby, particularly large scale gas-powered circles. We have half a million Users, so it's a lot of work.
I have a bunch of models of course... Here's one that you guys might like. It's mid way thru being dressed up as as a police car, specifically for a drift event. Will have a working light bar and everything.
4WD 26cc, 5hp gas-powered Dodge Viper on MCD Rally chassis (does about 60mph and is about a metre long, drifts like a demon)


And an idea of size... (yeh, thats me and I'm 6'3")...

If anyone ever wants any RC advice, let me know, I've been into it for over 20 years.
