Default What should a 2005 s2k with 6k miles go for?

I found an s2000 that I'm really considering getting at a local dealer here in San Diego. I plan to execute the deal tomorrow morning but I want to know what I should shoot for. The car is listed for $25,900 but I think it can go lower.

Any tips or ball park figures?

I really can't wait!

Depending on how CLEAN the car is ,I would say about 24k seems right to me.

I agree, you should be able to get it for around 23k to 24k since you can now buy a brand new 2007 for 29k before TTL.

Just picked it up... well, several hours ago (Went for a real long drive)

$23844 for a super super clean 2005 suzuka blue with 6000 miles. The last owner according to the dealer & carfax had the car for one year before trading it for a TL with Nav. Also found a car cover in the boot which was regularly used along with some service stickers.

Can't believe I actually own my dream car. Ever since my senior year in high school I always wanted one but always got side tracked by other car purchases. I can say that I have no regrets.

Some pics!

That's one good deal on your S2000. Congrats on your purchase. I'm still looking for my S2000!

I'm also considering a 2005 S2K with 14,000 miles listed at $25,090. My bank says the car should book for $24,680. I hope to test drive the car later this week.

Go for it. Just lowball them first with $23,xxx and play the cat and mouse game. You really should be paying around $23.5 for yours so keep at it and even "walk away" a few times.

Try not to get screwed on the interest (if your financing) I got mine locked in at 5.99% which is pretty good for a used car. Good luck!!!
