I just wonder when Honda usually put new S2000 out (what month)? I'm thinking about buying one but not til August. So I just want to know should I wait til 07 or get and 06.

 

Depends..

07 will have higher resale but you'll pay near invoice for it.

06 will have less resale but you'll pay under invoice for it once there are a number of 07's on the lots.

Get an 07 unless you want to same money on a leftover car (which isn't always a bad thing, just harded to find a low mile (like 20 or less miles on it) car than a current model year) or if you want a color combo that isn't available in 07.

 

MY 06 is the last production year.there won't be an 07.!!!

 

I had the exact dilemma a year ago as you do now. Answer to your question: mid-September to early-October if I remember correctly (at least you'll know if there is a 2007 or not, don't trust rumors).

Nevertheless, I waited, the 06 came out, and I STILL don't have one yet. Getting an 05 now

 

unless problems crop up with the new features in the 06, or new features are added to the 07, I see no reason to spend more on an 07.

 

In Fl. it on sale in late November. Got the 06 at invoice the day it was on sale.

September/October timeframe is when the new S2K MY typically come out.

 

Oh, SNAP! Does that mean the much anticipated S2000-sucessor with a VTEC V8 is in the works????!!!!!!????!!!!

 

Just remember that Honda will probably implement updates to the s2000 in '08 because they typically do this every 2 years.
