Default Wisconsin future s2000 owner

Hello there im josh from Milwaukee. Ive been a tech for toyota for 6 years and im currently building a mk3 supra with a 2jz swap and looking to get into s2000 market. Im a honda guy at heart with my first car being a 86 crx si. Anywho just wondering what to watch out for when purchasing an s2000 besides the obvious. Im looking for a 2004 but if i can find a really good deal on a ap1 i would go for it. Just wondering if there car has a tendency to rust in certain spots (specific s2k problems) or things to look for when driving where you can kind of tell if the car has been abused.(untouched s2k with minimal or no aftermarket shit, seems hard to find) I dont know much about the f series engines out of the s2k. How reliable they are in the long run and if i should stay away from high mileage cars. Thanks for all your help. oh and what to pay
