Yes!, My search is over. Found my s2000 GPW 06
After months of searching and lurking around the forums I have found my s2000. 59k miles on the clock and a little cosmetic blemises and torn leather seats(owner had a dog scratched up the seats). Price was decent as the car was mechanically sound, so I said what the hell. Save a few bucks here and fix those seats up and I should be good. Got a one way rental and drove to get the car 3.5 hours away. Had to confess there were times I almost given up and test drove other cars like the BRZ, STI, and was looking at the ND miata. Deep down inside I needed to get in s! Went home and ordered some new clazzio seat covers and a new shift knob.

Congratulations!! The exterior presents really well. This car wears GPW nicely!
I can relate...after my AP1 was totaled and prior to finding my AP2, I kept looking at different cars and got close a few times but there was just that one thing missing from each of those cars that I couldn't really connect with. Happy to be back in a S as of this past Monday.

Looks great!
Another rare car. Only 453 in that color -- in 2006! Just like my Silverstone/Black car is very rare -- only 272. In 2006, of course, the other 13,000 are different model years.
These are simple and fun cars to work on, not just drive! First step: Check and adjust the valve clearances. Billman is now recommending 0.012" for the exhausts in the DBW cars because they run leaner. The valve clearances tighten and burn the valves. See his *** Warning *** thread. Then follow the "new to you" maintenance steps. Easy at home stuff.
My roof developed a small tear where yours is. GoreTex patch kit has been holding up well for a year (inside and out).
The cabin air filter is probably disgustingly filthy too.
There's a recall on the brake booster of our 2006 cars. Honda recall website can check by your VIN.
Enjoy!

Thanks guys for the comments and advice! My cabin filter definitely was the same nasty condition as yours! I'm starting to see a slight tear on the same spot on your roof and went out to buy some outdoor black fabric material at Joann fabrics with e6000. Wish I'd seen your goretex patch before hand, looks like an easy solution. I just saw a video on how to adjust valves on youtube. Looks easy enough. Just ordered some tools and I hope to get to it soon.
