Yet another one!
Hi all,
Yet another new member to the club....I have a 2003 GT, and to quote Freddie Mercury, 'I'm in love with my car!!!' Today I thrashed a 530 Beamer convertable, and boy was he angry, well get yourself an engine....
Enough waffle, you all know how good they are, but I'm bewildered by the amount of performance stuff around so please could you advise. I'm limited on budget having just got the car, so what is the first thing I should do? I guess an air intake, but which one???? All advice gratefully achieved!

Imo, the only meaningful upgrades imo are 4.57 gears and a turbo or supercharger. Not cheap, but they really enhance the car. Everything else is a lot of money for little or no go, but exhausts and intakes do effect the sound, so it can be worth the money.

This car's born for race tracks ...This car's very well balanced and optimized for what it has. You'd need quite a lot of money to have any significant gains in both acceleration and handling department -- with the exception of final gear. Also, the car needs quite a driver to be able to extract its true potential.
