Greetings from New York!...im kinda new, but not really. ive had my s2k for about 6months or so, and i must say..best car..ever! ...

ok, i'll start off with my name, Dan McCann, (yes it rhymes :] ) ummm im 18, almost 19yrs old

umm, i had an 88 supra turbo as my first car, it was a car i bought pretty much just to learn how to drive stick, not gonna lie, it was a P.O.S. ..lol but it did the job.

my next car, that took me a while to save for, was a 1995 eagle talon tsi awd 5spd..i had it for about 2 years, saved every penny i ever made for it, and after the 2 years, i got it to 334 whp and 324 wtq...that car was a blast to drive, def a neck snapper. the only thing that concerned me was the axles and the tranny, they were startin to get old and stuff.

so, after sellin the talon, i started saving for like 2 months, save save save, and i finally had a pretty good chunk of mulah...so i thought to myself, what car do i want..so many things popped into my mind...i was literally like a day away from buying an rx7..im actually still gonna buy one when i pay my s2k off

so after insane researching and lookin around, i found out with a pretty small loan i can afford an s2k....so i looked around a bit and found my baby ... its an 04 GPW i had gotten it with 17k miles on it, and ever since i got it, as corny as this sounds every time i see it i smile.

well thats about it, i plan to go on this site regularly soo, i guess hit me up if u wanna talk or something, anything cars normal stuff etc.. oh and my aim is kenshinfan2004 if u wanna chat, ttyl!

 

Congrats..and welcome...it's not corny that you smile every time you see it. I still do the same to mine and I have had it coming 3 years in May.

Congrats on the purchase. Definitely still puts a smile in my face as well and I've had her for about 2 years now. Hit up your regional forum, you might be able to check out if their having any meets or anything. I would've directed you, but you didn't post your location in your info. and **** yea i drive in the winter, its my daily love every moment of it
the only thing i really need though, is winter tires, the ones i got i dont like :/ ..but she still does the job
