The issue: Clutch pedal has no pressure until almost at the floor, car is hard to get into gear at times. And at other times I can't get it into gear at all so I have to turn the car off, put it in gear, and then start driving again. I've had a problem before where there was too much free play and a friend of mine did my clutch fluid for me and it fixed the problem. It's been a little over a year and now I have this issue. The clutch pedal WILL come back up with no problems, there's just no pressure at all until it's near the floor. And that's also where the engagement is now.

The question: Seeing as though the dealer is only charging $148.00 + part cost to install it, can anyone help me do it myself? I saw a write-up on how to put an 03 cylinder on an 04, and judging by the part, it looks pretty simple to do. Why not save $150.00? I'd rather spend it on some beer and pizza and the chance to make a new friend possibly.

Thoughts? If I have any takers, I can call honda and order the part. I think it's only like $80.

Josh is a great guy, he did my valve adjustment for cheap when I first got the S2000 even though I offered him more.

 

Josh is awesome thats who works on my car all the time since I dont want to work on my own car. He even details my car. Speaking of detailing. Courtney can you schedule a day that josh can detail my car?
