Axle nut tsb tech day
The torque for the nut ends up around 400ft/lbs. The nut is torqued to 180ft/lbs, then do the 60 degree technique. My other torque wrench only goes to 150ft/lbs and you are not supposed to max out torque.

I read the wrench wasn't needed. I used the 60 degree technique.
I Have 250 torque wrench. It was clicking before the 60° mark. So I decided to go the full 60°.

I've done this twice in the past and have some additional info for you all. Make sure to re-grease the splines and backs of the axle nuts. Using the OEM Nut is perfectly OK, no need to buy another unless you destroy the OEM somehow. I have not had any slips when working on mine and I used a 3/4 socket Breaker bar and floor jack pole extender
Easy job to do.
