B to the S Thread.
Part of me wants to believe that humans are inherently a peaceful species, but it's the society that we evolved into that created this horrific species that are absolutely awful to their own kind. Then I'm left with the belief that akin to dinosaurs getting their 'shot' so are we and we're just f@#king it up to no end.
I personally believe that humans are born with innate instinctual behaviors that are genetically hardwired. Your instinct for survival will basically dictate your core behaviors, but then you're born into this world with advanced consciousness as compared to other species and you modify your behaviors based on your experiences. 'Tabula Rasa' in a sense, but I don't believe the slate was fully blank, as I believe in genetic predisposition to behaviors and such.

Oh, I've been there. It was pretty great while it lasted. I had an MK6 GTI, racing braced, lowered, and I had it APR tuned. It was really fun, and I miss that interior so bad! It put out more power than the stock clutch could handle, so I de-tuned it and traded it in for a Tacoma.
The thing about VW is that re-sale always tanks so hard. But that MK7 R... it is just sweet.
Post some pics of your Jetta! I'll look for some old GTI photos
