Hey all,
I'm looking for someone who knows how to wetsand/detail flawlessly, at a reasonable price. Any recommendations in the Jacksonville area? Thanks!!

If it does need a good wet sand. I got a friend who does awseome paint for us. Doubt he would charge much to do the entire car.
But per your profile I see your S is an '07 I can't really imagine it being that bad.

I will take pics but I doubt that the imperfections will show on the pics. Here's the summary: my car was just fully painted (oem) about a month ago. The guy did a great job, but we agreed on letting it cure before wetsanding it/buffing it. Somehow it seems impossible to get a hold of him lately...not sure if he lost interest, or if something happened yo him (I hope not). What happened was that apparently as the car dried up, contaminants in the paint booth settled on the clear as it dried. Not sure. If anything other than wetsanding can make these look smooth. Also, a few sections have clearcoat ripples/runs which are really difficult to see and only visible at specific angle...I think these definitely are going to need wetsanding.
Who is your friend that does paint work? It may even be the same guy that painted my car! Lol

My friends name is Christian. I don't think he's done any local s2k's. But it does sound like a wet sand and a good buffing is in need. You should try and bring it out this weekend end and let some of us look at it. If it does in fact need it. I'll tell my buddy and I'm sure he'll be happy to do it. He's painting my civic this weekend also.
Lol Christian did my car...alex's brother, correct? Not sure what's up with the guy but he's not returning my calls/texts...now that you tell me he'll be doing your car then I know nothing happened to him and he simply lost interest in completing my car. That's screwed up but it's the reality of things. He told me to let the paint cure and that he would complete the buffing later, and here I am now...What did I learn? Never pay in full if the work has not been completed in full.
