Those pics from mase all have really awesome focus effects, how does one do this with a camera?

Nothin too fancy. Those shots were taken with my 50mm f/1.8. Its a $50 lens but just a little tricky to get the right focus.

The one thing that's tough shooting at Stage 6 is the shifting white balance. You have outside sunlight then fluorescence up top inside. Add that with the drastic lighting levels of inside and outside and it becomes a pita to get the right settings. That's why manual is always best imo.
