Just thought I'd drop by and say hello to everyone else in jax. I just picked up a 04 Suzuka Blue s2000. And I have to say that I love this car already. Any particular cheap mod's or free ones you guys recommend? And any meets going on today? I was going to head out to tropical smoothie on Southside around noon, mainly because I need a haircut.

 

Welcome and congrats!! Not really any free mods except take the slack our of your throttle cable. And don't remove the airbox lid. Lol

 

I don't believe there is any meets today that are planned. There was one last night though.

As for the mods. The best bang for the buck and cheap mods will be a test pipe. Used you can get them around 50-60 dollars, and possibly a K&N drop in air filter. Most other mods will cost big bucks for 1-8hp. (some even lose top end while gaining mid range and low end) or if you want to just make some noise. hehe

I would suggest going after some decent coilovers first. Our motors are pretty maxed out from Honda so not really much to gain unless you go forced induction.

Just take your time to learn and enjoy your new love.
