Default I need some help...

Well awhile back I purchased a 70mm Invidia testpipe, and of course, my check engine light comes up... I know I need to buy a new O2 sensor and that crap, but I have 0 experience with testpipes. I called Stage6/Mase, but they told me no.

Has anyone else had this problem and fixed it?

the mil is caused by the secondary o2 sensor picking up that there is no catalyst "cleaning" the exhaust gasses they make a adapter that backs the bank 1 sensor 2 o2 out of the exhaust stream just look for one on the internet. I thing they call them cel eliminators.

Here is what you do.

Go to AutoZone and buy to Spark Plug anti foulers. IF you dont know what they are ask someone there they are hangin on the rack somewhere buy the Misc stuff. (bolts, fittings, plastic extras ect.)

Next get a drill and a drill bit that is about the same size as the nipple on the O2 sensor.

On my 04 i needed to spark plug foulers but start with one and see if that works.

next thread in you O2 sensor in to the fouler and the fouler threads to the test pipe bun.

reset your battery and your light should go away.

hope this helps. ]

I have the same setup on mine and Phil is right. The 70 mm is supposed to have the cell fix built in but it didn't work for me either. I might have an extras defoulers laying around. If so you can have it. I'll check later today.

It's easy. You are just recessing the sensor from the exhaust flow.

You have to learn some time to work on your own car?????

its really very simple. About as hard as washing your car.
