If you're ever interested there is a Reptile Expo held every year in Daytona. The animals are well priced and the breeders take pride in their reptiles, unlike some pet shops that sell W/C reptiles with worms just to make an extra buck. Plus you can walk around and see all the different reptiles people are breeding. They have a whole lot of snakies.

Did you guys have a UVB light along with the heat lamp for him?

I went last weekend. The penguins were awesome.

 

Yea, we had all he needed. He just jumped out of my hand a while back and apparently broke his jaw and it got infected. We couldn't nurse him back. The kids love the zoo. They can't wait until this summer to go to the penguin exhibit and get in the water play area.

 

An s2k Family Zoo Event? That sounds like something we've NEVER done in my 9 1/2 years of ownership. Awesome. Let's make it happen.
