I've been thinking about doing it myself to my truck and the gf's Civic.

Does the heat gun removal process leave any residue from the old tint? If so, what do people use to get it off?

I had the removal done years ago once. They treated the windows with a chemical and it took hours. I don't know if the process has improved.

Yea, I hear Will does a good job over there at Tint World. We've painted a few things for him here at the Speed Shop. But we always refer people down to him b/c of the good things out customers have told us.

I don't recommend removing tint yourself, especially the rear windshield... (the defrost) let the professional do it and if they screw up then they will be responsible.

Thanks for the help everyone. I went with advanced window tinting. 3m film machine cut for the 4 door. It really helps in this freaking heat.
