Default Track Days

As discussed during today's coffee meet, it would be great to see more participation from Jax in other track days around FL, and even north of here, GA, Carolinas, etc. I feel fortunate to be living in this part of the country and have access to some amazing track opportunities. Our FL friends south of us are very active, so maybe we could join them during some events.

Here is the next NASA 2-day event on January 7-8 at Sebring. HPED 1-4. Sebring Events | National Auto Sport Association - Florida Region
Accomodations: Inn On The Lakes | Sebring Hotel is nice but there are other options as well.

I think I can make this one if I plan ahead. Anyone else?

sebring would be challenging and fun but I feel for first time tracking roebling might be better. It's also closer. This week is very busy for me. I'll do some searching in the next 2 weeks.

Not bad for 2 days at roebling considering how much we paid at the firm for 1day. Looks like user needs to pick from hpde 1 to 4. I heard NASA allows s2000 in oem form

they do. and I emailed jim ( coordinator ) for some info. if it's your first time you have to do hpde1 for evaluation. he will also want all of your history and will consider other groups. but I would expect 1 first.

You have to start out in HPDE 1. If you have experience, you can usually get bumped up to HPDE 2 after a session or two. Once they determine you are not a danger to others. This is at the discretion of the person running HPDE 2 though. After that, they prefer you to do 2 events before moving to the next run group, but this too is discretionary. NASA is a good organization.

Follow the regional NASA Facebook page. I don't know if they do it out there, but NASAAZ posts promo codes for early registration. This last event they were doing $50 off first time HPDE 1 entries (which is the price of the annual license) or $30 off for existing members.
Wow, that is a great price for a 2 day event, usually 1 day is $179.
