Do you need a valve lash/clearance adjustment? I may be able to do that for you. Send me a PM and we can discuss.
Unless your engine has been over-revved, your retainers are likely fine. I know what to look for in terms of cracked retainers but won't say I can positively identify one. Additionally, from what I've read, cracked retainers can take some time to show signs of crack propagation after initiation. The best way to inspect retainers is to remove them for underside inspection; this is not something I do.
Hope that helps.
