What cars do you see using royal purple? You should do a search on here about that. Also, theres a maint. section that will save you alot of money if you DIY.

The first thing you need to do with the car is NEVER GO TO A JIFFY LUBE. <=== That is not a joke, stay away from Jiffy Lube, or any quick change lube place for that matter. The dealership can change the fluid for you, but will charge you a ridiculous amount. It is very easy to change all the fluids yourself, as long as you have a level area that the car can be jacked up on. Use 75-90 gear oil for the diff, do not use the honda diff fluid (that is for the suv's, it will cause major damage when used in the S2000 differential)

Im not very technically inclined. I could honestly change the oil if I wanted to based on guides ive read in the past but I would probably end up screwing it up.

Question: what fluid does the white container hold?

white container at the top of the picture: brake fluid (brake master cylinder)
white container at the bottom of the picture: coolant (honda coolant is blue) (coolant overflow tank)

If you need a crash course on the car let me know, we can meet up and I can show you what everything is.

Just send him a detailed pic of the engine bay and he'll intricately label everything for you

And you can change your oil, don't be scared of it. Once you do it a couple times, you'll feel more confident. And you're more than welcome to come over to our place and we can change ours together so you can become used to doing it. Trust me, you'll love working on this car. I had a Mustang before the S and this car is 10 times easier to work on. I promise

Damn what a great community from just reading some of the post on this thread and seeing how willing some are to help out the OP. Can't wait to come back to the mainland in December and move to Jax for school in January. Looking forward to meeting everyone. Best of luck at learning OP.
