Default 05 kpro

Hey all,

I am seriously contemplating on whether I should get kpro for the s2k. I just read on the apr 09' issue of modified mag, and they have an article on a how to install on kpro for the MY00-05. Install seems pretty easy, just time consuming. The dyno they tuned it at yielded around 25whp midrange which is pretty decent.

My question is if I were to get kpro would it be worth it? Any MY05's with just a kpro tune on the site please post feedback. Thanks

yes I have used the search function, but no one has posted feedback on kpro utilization. Other posts just talk about kpro and other ems similiarities and differences.

i just installed it in my MY03... it is a lot of work a little more than the magazine makes it out to be i ended up having to flush my cooling system and remove the exhaust cam(there is no way to get the sensor off without doing this as they kinda mentioned in the article)

so far i have just been street tuning the car... it feels nice a quite a bit smoother than with the stock ECU i should be getting on the dyno here in a few weeks and i will be able to see how numbers change

imho it is worth it to have the ability to play with the car... i bought it to eventually run E85 on my car and then probably some form of FI but it is a nice upgrade over stock and really helps with the understanding of how the enigine works.
