17'' ce's on an amuse widebody.
So Ive been thinking about going wide, only issue is im not sure what size rims to go with, and I wont pull the trigger on a kit untill I know the rim setup will be perfect.
Amuse runs a few specs for rims, so im not even sure where to start.
I want to run a 17'' ce28.
Im thinking 17x9.5 +15 or 17x10 +15. Is that offset too low, might I need to stick with the +22? If I go through with this I do want the rims tucked, so im being very fussy about the offset because ordering a set of volks like this will make them very hard to sell or return if its not 100%.

with Amuse widebody I would just run what Amuse does, not sure exactly what that is but I could go look at a Hyper Rev and see if you really wanted me to.
but just to clarify, I believe the only reason Amuse/ASM runs 18's on there widebodies is do to the tire sizes offered.
don't even start worrying about this unless you are 100% on getting the Amuse aero though, and don't get it because you think its pretty.

If the offset is correct and being lowered it should look great
Maybe its because I'm just not a fan of 18's
the only reason i want the kit is just for preference. it doesn't make sense to me to buy 1600$ asm front fenders, rear over fenders and side skirts when i can put up a little more money and get the amuse.

it is not that 17" will "look" too small with a widebody, it is that the TIRE SIZES of 18" are more adequate for something like the amuse widebody. I don't believe the correct sizes are available like 265 whatever whatever is available in 17", if it is, then by all means go for it.
stretched tires look terrible on everything. especially a widebody car. The Amuse widebody would look fantastic with 17" wheels and some fairly meaty tires, and would be much more usable. make it look like a GT car, not like you don't know what you are doing.

plenty of rubber is needed here. tiny sidewalls are for minitrucks, so are stretched. 17s will be fine, as long as width, and then tires are sized correctly. make em fat, chicks dig thickness
