AEM EMS
The EMS is a direct plug-in...so not much of a DIY needed.
A new unit normally comes with a base map to start the car and drive it up onto a dyno. However, you should really take the car to a knowledgeable and experienced tuner. I would be in the parking lot, install the EMS (takes seconds) and hand the key to the tuner.
