I think this sums up the situation quite well.

I can speak for myself as well as AJR since I was the one who had packaged some of these products. We have been challenged by customers who had purchased these parts from us in the past saying these products were kind of sketch. There was nothing we could do if the products came to us in that condition."

"Guys, nothing against you but I honestly don't buy this aspect of your statement. If you were receiving sub-par products that were missing logo's or improperly packaged or of poor quality you should not shrugging your shoulders and continue to selling their products for so many years. Then there is the ethical side of this question, why would you pass on questionable products to your customers? This doesn't add up.

Also none of this addresses the claim that they ordered and inspected J's products which turned out to be fake. Why would they make such a claim against AJR? What is the motivation here?"

i want to know how i can identify an authentic J's Racing rear toe arm...
Please take a detailed picture, that is the only way you're going to get any help. No amount of words will verify anything.

I own a pair of genuine J's Racing rear toe arms and there are plenty of others, traders that sell them. I'm sure if you post detailed pictures up, you will get a more favorable response.

i will do that this weekend.

i have no jack to lift up the car until i go to my parents garage this weekend.

thanks for tuning in, i'll update soon.

while we're talking about J's rear toe arm...

a member mentioned that several of his friends had failed j's racing toe arm endlink rods.

any thoughts on how the endlink rods (not the arm that is connected to the subframe, but the end rod connecting the toe arm to the knuckle) hold up? they should theoretically last for the life of the car right? i know the aurora bearings should be replaced, as i've already done twice...but the endlink rods are not a wear n tear item.

I don't know exactly what the reason for this was, but I know that TC Design originally used the same design as the J's Racing RCAs, then changed the design b/c under hard racing conditions the rod ends were breaking.

In the posts that I saw on the subject, they were not very forthcoming with the changes they made (which is fully understandable as they are trade secrets and, arguably, what makes their product better than J's Racing's). What I heard (secondhand, take it FWIW) was that it had something to do w/ repeatedly going over chicanes on the track, but that is unconfirmed. Unfortunately, TC Design does not make RCAs for S2000s any more.

Since yours are fine, though, I wouldn't worry too much about that issue. It sounds like you have been using them for quite a while w/o issue, so hopefully you can find some comfort and satisfaction in that fact.

thanks for the additional info. more info is a good thing.

i don't have comfort in the possibility that the endlink rods can break while i'm driving...if i'm on a two way road i can easily slide into opposing traffic. not good.

RCA's=roll center adjusters? if so, he's talking about the toe arm.

You can take a picture lying down on the ground, it's fairly visible if you ask me.

No problems with mine, but like all "race parts" they should be checked often for wear and tear. There is no such thing as lifetime usage, even the OEM ones have their own weakness.
