Default All Honda Stroker

Who read the new Import Tuner article?

They found someone who built an all Honda F2.4 stroker ---

Used the rods and pistons from a H22a (prelude, right?) because they share the FRM sleave material (and are the same diameter of course).

And the crank from some other H motor I think

It was featured in Turbo, and I've searched for the other topic in UTH but couldn't find it so I'm posting here. It's using H pistons/rods/bearings and a K24 crank.

I'm very interested in seeing the results/new powerband from this build and what else is needed to make this combo run correctly. The way they ended this article was stupid in my opinion, especially for Turbo, which is probably my favorite magazine out there.

I'm either writing Turbo requesting a more in depth article or E-mailing Design Craft directly to ask them about their results.

Any info any one else has would be greatly appreciated

Chris

yeah that's the mag..

it did seem that they ended with out really going into anything.. i kept turning pages looking for more info.

I found this thread but it hasn't been added to in almost a year.. (Hey bmcrace.com, did you ever get this motor together?).

It's not that i'm looking for cheap either, just that honda parts are a known product.. and Toda (ety al), although known, has sold crap in the past (search this forum for their cams... ).

kauffman, if you find out anything keep posting

Gary Castillo from Design Craft has gotten on Franks thread over on honda tech.

He is the guy that the turbo write-up was about ---

Interesting thread.

He's building the motors for the RSR car.

it's about half way down the S2000 forum page ---

title " Anyone read the new turbo mag yet? k24 crank + h22 pistons, rods = 2.4 f20c" posted by frank "FR-MOB: Francesco"

mod -- do we post links to other forums here? is that kosher?
